[low FODMAP] Shepherd’s Pie

Shepherd’s Pie or (Cowboy Pie) is amazing. I have heard for it to technically be Shepherd’s pie it should use ground lamb, but my mama didn’t raise me that way. I love the flavour of it and I also like that it turns leftovers into a brand new meal. For me we always had Shepards pie when there was leftover mashed potatoes. In with the leftover potatoes, all the rest of the leftovers were thrown in. (Vegetables, ect.) This was a great way to make something new out of yesterday’s dinner. So I totally encourage you to take on that challenge and clear our everything you can in your fridge into the Shepherd’s Pie. Shepard’s pie also freezes really well, and can be frozen and then thawed later if you have a lot of extras or if you want a low effort dinner for another day.
